Wer nach \u201eWas ist Patina\u201c sucht, erh\u00e4lt meist eine technische Definition: eine durch Alterung entstandene Oberfl\u00e4chenver\u00e4nderung, die durch Oxidation, Licht, Feuchtigkeit oder Gebrauch entsteht. Bei Uhren jedoch geht es um mehr als um Oxidation oder Verf\u00e4rbung. Es geht um Originalit\u00e4t, um Marktwert und um die Frage, wie weit eine Aufarbeitung gehen darf.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bei Uhren zeigt sich Patina subtiler, z.B. auf Zifferbl\u00e4ttern, die ins Cremefarbene kippen, auf Tritium-Indizes, die warm nachgedunkelt sind, oder auf L\u00fcnetten, deren Farben weicher geworden sind. Ein fleckiges, besch\u00e4digtes Zifferblatt hingegen ist es selten. Eine sanft verblasste L\u00fcnette gilt als charmant, w\u00e4hrend ein stark korrodiertes Geh\u00e4use eher als Problem gilt. \u00c4hnlich verh\u00e4lt es sich beim Geh\u00e4use.
