Ihre Geschichte und die enge Verbindung zum Rennsport machen sie zu einer der beliebtesten Rolex Uhren \u00fcberhaupt. Dieses Modell weist eine Besonderheit auf. Die L\u00fcnette stammt nicht von Rolex selbst, sondern ist eine spezielle Custom Anfertigung; deshalb auch der Zusatz \u201eRolex Daytona Custom\u201c. Sie besteht aus Keramik in schwarzer Farbe und wird von einer eingravierten Tachymeterskala geziert. Das Geh\u00e4use ist aus Edelstahl gefertigt, poliert und satiniert. Das schwarze Zifferblatt wirkt mit seinen aufgesetzten Edelstahlindexen und Edelstahl Zeigern sehr edel. Das silberne Edelstahlgeh\u00e4use harmoniert hervorragend mit dem 18kt Gelbgold der L\u00fcnette, die dar\u00fcber hinaus ein blaues Inlay mit sich bringt. Die angebrachte 60 Minuten Skala ist einseitig drehbar. Beim Armband setzt sich die Machart der Uhr nahtlos fort. 18kt Gelbgold umschlossen von Edelstahl bilden das Oyster Armband. Auch das Zifferblatt in leuchtblau, mit seinen in Gelbgold gefassten Indexen und gelbgoldenen Zeigern, f\u00fcgt sich perfekt in das Gesamtbild ein. Die Edelstahl L\u00fcnette mit schwarzem Inlay und der 60 Minuten Einteilung ist beidseitig drehbar. Die eigentliche Besonderheit und ebenso verantwortlich f\u00fcr die Namensgebung ist das Zifferblatt.
