Our specialised shop for watches and jewellery is the leading retail business of its kind in Europe. Starting out in 1976, we have always been a competent partner for all of our customers. As an Internet pioneer, we established our online shop www.watch.de in 1994, offering luxury new and used brand name watches of all renowned manufacturers. Our companies Rent-a-Juwelier and Häffners Pawn Shop allow us to be supplied with a worldwide unique and comprehensive product, and service portfolio that leaves no wishes unfulfilled. Our parent house, Juwelier Ralf Häffner, is located at Eberhardstrasse 4, directly across Kaufhaus Breuninger in the heart of Stuttgart.

We buy and sell worldwide through our online shop www.watch.de and, of course our shops in Stuttgart. The online shop, which has become an institution among watch aficionados, has recently been established as Europe's largest online shop (www.watch.de). We provide you a unique service. For each watch, you'll obtain the free watch.de watch card. It includes the 1000-day-guarantee certificate, a picture, an exact description and the replacement value of your watch. For each jewel and gem, we'll get you a free gemmological certificate!

Second-hand brand name watches are excluding VAT as they are subject to the second hand margin scheme according to §25a Value Added Tax Act. That's why we have always been so price-competitive!

You will also find a large selection of quality gems and jewellery. We would also be happy to prepare pieces according to your ideas and carry out repairs. Our pick-up & return service

If you want to do the following with your valuable: sell, take on sale or return, have it accepted as payment or lend it against security, we can have it picked up at your place and send it as insured parcel to us. If you can agree to our binding offer, we will immediately confirm and proceed with the business instantly. For pick-up / delivery of insured goods within Germany and not exceeding 500 Euro, we charge 10 Euro one way. Above a value of 500 Euro, we charge 25 Euro one way.

If we do not find any mutual agreement, we will send you your watch / piece of jewel fully insured back! If you buy a watch/piece of jewellery, we will send it to you worldwide and insured within 1 to 2 workdays.

"Jewellery from private to private"
Private and commercial seller of jewellery and watches rent a window glass cabinet at "Rent a Juwelier". After your valuable has been assessed, we will discuss with you the price to be achieved. If you wish, the valuable/watch will be displayed at Rent-a-Juwelier and on our online platform, while the item itself is fully insured via Allianz. Rent a Juwelier charges you a mere 25 Euro per month/valuable, with a 2-month minimum term, and 15% of the fixed sales price (due only after successful sale). After a successful sale, you receive an invoice and an order cheque including the remaining revenue. Particularly of interest: To you as end customer, all watches/jewels are excluding (!) VAT as they are subject to the second hand margin scheme according to §25a Value Added Tax Act.

Since our first opening, Rent-a-Juwelier comprises a customer base of more than 6.000 sellers, from whom we could sell already 25.000 gems/watches. We place particularly value on a good reputation, anonymity, fair prices and comprehensive advice. The items are all polished, repaired and cleaned. It guarantees the buyer that his purchased goods are all worth their money. Upon request, we issue an independent appraisal certificate with proof of origin. The average time to sell a valuable is between 2 and 3 months.

The benefits are obvious: Best selling location, many walk-in customers bring high customer frequency, base customers and the global online advertisement of your item. The seller reactivates idle money and the buyer finds the precious piece he has long been looking for, and all of this including the guarantee that the buyer gets what he has paid for.

Pick-up & return service: If you wish to send us your valuable for purchase, we will be happy to pick them up for FREE at your place within Germany and send them to us, also fully insured. If you agree with our binding quote, you will immediately receive a delivery contract. For pick-up / delivery of insured goods within Germany and not exceeding 500 Euro, we charge 10 Euro one way.
