Secure Transactions
Once you have found your perfect watch among our listings, you can place a binding order by clicking on the link labelled “Click here to order watch” which can be found in every listing. The seller will immediately be notified and once they have sent us the watch it will be scrutinized by our qualified in-house watchmakers to confirm its authenticity and functionality (including a check of the clock unit) and to verify the seller’s description, so you can be assured that the desciption in the listing is consistent. You will receive a certificate by Jeweller Ralf Haeffner confirming all product details as well as the replacement value of your purchase. This Authenticity Certificate acts as an “identity card” for your new watch and is free of charge.
Service fees and postage to be paid by the buyer
Jeweller Ralf Haeffner charges the buyer for the complete fiduciary handling of the transaction and the valuation of the ordered watch as follows:
Purchase Price: under Euro 1.000,-
Service Fee: (flat charge) 60,-
Purchase price: EURO 1.000.- - EURO 4.000,-
Service Fee: 8% of the purchase price
Purchase price: EURO 4.000.- - EURO 8.000,-
Service Fee: 6% of the purchase price
Purchase price: EURO 8.000.- - EURO 15.000,-
Service Fee: 4% of the purchase price
Purchase price: over Euro 15.000,-
Service Fee: 3% of the purchase price
The cost of our insured valuable consignments courier service Euro 25,- for deliveries within Germany and Western Europe (except Austria). For all other countries the delivery costs vary between Euro 50,- - Euro 100,-.
Watch.de explicitly reserves the right not to deliver an ordered watch in case of a seller not fulfilling his obligation to send in the item, or if the seller’s description of the watch does not correspond with the watch in question.

for a automatic or hand-wound chronograph: Euro 80,-

for a complicated hand-wound or automatic watch: Between Euro 100,- and Euro 200,-.
As a matter of course we will provide you with a Guarantee Certificate which lists all details of your watch. However, you can always rely on our service if your watch needs repairs, even if you haven’t bought our Guarantee or if it has expired. We promise and guarantee that we will take care of your “sick baby” at a fair price.
Refurbishment
At your request our in-house watchmakers will refurbish your „new“ watch to make it look as good as new. We offer this highly recommendable service at an online bargain price:
Refurbishment of the body: 70 Euro;
Refurbishment of body and wristband: 100,- – 150 Euro.
