Watch.de Private online watch market - Information for sellers

If you have decided to part with one or more of your watches, you can use our new service which is completely free for sellers: Our online auction is a safe marketplace which can conveniently be used from home.

This means that the watch(es) you wish to sell are presented to a worldwide market.
As Jeweller Ralf Haeffner is the exclusive contact person for all parties and handles all correspondence, shipping and payment transactions, private as well as commercial sellers remain completely anonymous.

Neither the seller nor the buyer show themselves; jeweller Ralf Haeffner conducts the complete transaction while acting for both parties as fiduciary who guarantees for safe and correct handling of all transactions.

There is no cost involved in listing one or more items for sale in our online marketplace, and the seller can list his item from the comfort of their home or anywhere in the world. In order to ensure a quick sale of the item, each listing must include at least one picture as well as a detailed and precise description of the watch.

All listings remain valid until the item is definitely sold. Upon request sellers can have their listings deleted prematurely (e.g. because you don’t wish to sell the watch any more or because you have sold it elsewhere). Please send us an email as soon as possible if this is the case.

Your asking price should be fair and in line with the market in order to ensure that your item sells quickly. We do not accept exaggerated or overpriced listings under any circumstances and we reserve the right to delete listings from our watch auction database.

As soon as you have placed your watch in our online watch auction, your listing will be online and can be viewed from anywhere in the world.

All you have to do then is wait and see. Once a buyer has ordered your watch from our online watch auction, we will notify you immediately and have your watch collected from your address by our insured courier service for valuable consignments.

Our courier service charges 10 Euro for collecting and delivering items of a value up to 500 Euro within Germany. For items worth over 500 Euro the collection and delivery fee is 25 Euro.

If your place of residence is outside Germany, please use a special courier for valuable consignments (preferably with a transport insurance) to send your watch to Eberhardstrasse 4 in 70173 Stuttgart, Germany.

At the same time we will ask the buyer to pay the agreed purchase price. As soon as your watch arrives in our house it will be checked to ensure a careful, safe and quick completion of the transaction. If all conditions are met, the watch will be immediately be sent to the buyer using a insured courier for consignments of valuables. The seller can choose to receive the purchase price via bank transfer, cheque or cash as an insured consignment of valuables sent directly to their address.

As a matter of course we will notify buyers at all times via email about all queries, transactions and status changes, from placing the listing up to the completion of the sale of the watch.
